Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon oil for cooking

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Non-stick pan
  • Ladle
  • Spatula

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, yogurt, and water. Mix well to form a smooth batter.
  • Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt to the batter. Mix until well combined.
  • Fold in the chopped onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, and coriander leaves into the batter.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a little oil.
  • Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it into a circle.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Repeat the process for the remaining batter, adding more oil as needed.
  • Serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
